Canon: Houseki no Kuni
Pronouns: Gems by nature are genderless/sexless, but I will be using male pronouns for Antarc. For AUs where Antarcticite is a human rather than a Gem, he's male.
Age: Fairly old, most definitely over 1000.
Residence: The school, currently the Moon
Partner: Phos
Personality:
A very no-nonsense, clear cut, and straightforward individual who can at times be awkward due to typically working alone. He has an aloof nature and can come across as snippy at times; But Antarc is actually quite patient and is an overall excellent mentor. Due to his age as well as his strength, and the nature of his body's structure only being able to hold solid form in the winter--Antarc feels strongly responsible for his fellow Gems, and takes the duty of protecting them as they sleep whether by eliminating Lunarians or destroying ice floes that threaten their slumber very seriously.
Despite his at times cold behavior, he has a large soft spot for Sensei and loves him dearly as a parent, and has grown to care deeply for Phos as well, often admittedly concerned for the other being lonely once winter comes to an end.

INTERACTION WISE:
- Backtagging is absolutely fine, I reply either at a snail's pace or at the speed of the Roadrunner.
- Threadjacking will only occur with the consent of all writers for the thread, unless it's a crack/humorous/light-hearted thread--I'm more flexible on that latter one.
- I am flexible about where on the timeline I write Antarc, though I typically default to a vague timeline where he managed to survive. I can also write him post-resurrection, and during the time period of his first appearance in the series, or even on one of his times awake during a season of winter.
- Cross-canon is always welcome, HnK's a fairly obscure series.
- Assumed CR/potential ships will require plotting as Antarc is very much demi on both sides.
- Ships wise, one-sided Phos/Antarc on Phos's side happens to be my favorite. I'm also partial to the rare pair of Diamond/Antarcticite.
- I'm caught up on the manga and will eventually watch the anime, but will typically default to the former for canon lore.
